Shipping
Packed to arrive healthy.
Every palm leaves here in its pot, in the soil it grew in. Nothing pulled, nothing bare root.
If it shows up broken
Send me a photo within 48 hours of delivery and I'll send a new one.
Broken means a snapped trunk or a damaged center spear.
You just cover the shipping on the replacement, or take store credit instead.
When it ships
Late March to October
Orders ship all the time.
November to March
Orders ship when the whole trip stays above freezing.
A palm can't ride through a hard freeze in a box, so winter orders go out only when the forecast stays above freezing for the whole trip, from Wisconsin to your door. Headed south, that comes up often. Headed north, it can take a while.
Everything goes UPS Ground to the lower 48. Shipping is priced live for your address at checkout, packing included.
How it works
- Every palm ships in its pot, in its soil, packed so it doesn't move.
- If the palm arrives broken, meaning a snapped trunk or a damaged center spear (where new growth comes from), take a photo of the palm and the box and send it to me within 48 hours of delivery. Hang on to the box until we've sorted it out.
- I'll send a replacement palm and you cover the shipping on it, or you can take store credit toward your next order instead.
What's normal, and what isn't covered
- A bent or partly broken frond. The palm grows new fronds from the center, so you can trim a damaged one off and it keeps going.
- A few brown tips from the trip. It's cosmetic and new growth comes in clean.
- Shipping delays. Once the box is with the carrier, the timing is out of my hands.
- Anything after planting. Once it's in your ground, it's yours, but I'm always a message away if something looks off.
